Yakamengen III is in the part of the Reşadiye Peninsula that extends elegantly towards the water between the two seas, called "Betçe" (far place) by the people of Datça. It is inside a vise that has existed for a long time in Yaka Village, on the Knidos road. Mengen was faithfully renovated approximately 20 years ago and previously hosted two different businesses with similar approaches. Our restaurant Yakamengen has opened its doors with the “III” extension and this time with a young chef. Our restaurant, which also has an antique vise and kitchen in the main building, serves in places where possible, hidden behind the building during the summer months.

Olive oil, which played a starting role in the kitchens of previous establishments, is also the predecessor of the new cuisine. In addition, the chef shapes his cuisine based on local products. The kitchen comes from both its own garden and the gardens in the surrounding villages; Work is done from the fishermen on the coast and from the production in nearby centres. Familiar and obscure recipes are developed in our kitchen with the contemporary techniques of a young chef. Another important feature of the kitchen, which embraces the principle of sustainability as much as possible, is the sensitivity shown to wine and food. A local cape is carefully selected from the surrounding vineyards, boutique pieces, and completely domestically produced wines. Opening its doors to its guests for dinner, our restaurant is happy to welcome those who are fond of pure taste with its elegant, meticulous, nature-inspired plates, delightful wines and an ambiance harmonized with art.
